ARLD034 DX news

This week's bulletin was made possible with information provided by
the OPDX Bulletin, 425 DX News, The Daily DX, DXNL, Contest Corral
from QST and the ARRL Contest Calendar and WA7BNM web sites.  Thanks

FIJI, 3D2.  Operators Stan, AC8W, Brian, KG8CO, Ted, K8AQM and Lee,
N8LJ will be QRV as 3D2AC, 3D2CO, 3D2LJ and 3D2TR, respectively,
from Tavenuni Island, IOTA OC-016, from August 24 to September 1.
Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.  QSL
3D2TR via K8AQM and all others via K8ESQ.

TIMOR-LESTE, 4W.  Wilbert, PE7T and James, N1YC are QRV as 4W/home
calls until August 26.  Activity is on 80 to 10 meters using CW and
SSB.  QSL 4W/PE7T via PE7T and 4W/N1YC via W5UE.

WEST MALAYSIA, 9M2.  Mirek, VK6DXI is QRV as 9M8DX/2 from Tioman
Island, IOTA AS-046, until August 24.  QSL via SP5UAF.

CHINA, BY.  Special event station B4YOG is QRV until August 28 to
celebrate the 2nd Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.  Activity is on
40, 30, 20, 15 and 10 meters using CW, SSB and PSK.  QSL via BD4WO.

MOROCCO, CN.  Francisco, EA7FTR, Eugene, EA5HPX, David, EB7DX and
others are QRV as 5E7R from Rabat until August 24.  QSL via EB7DX.

SVALBARD, JW.  Pete, SQ9DIE is QRV as JW/SQ9DIE from Spitsbergen,
IOTA EU-026, until August 28.  Activity is on 40 to 6 meters using
SSB and RTTY.  QSL to home call.

MARIANA ISLAND, KH0.  Joe, OZ0J will be QRV as KH0/OZ0J from Saipan,
IOTA OC-086, from August 26 to September 2.  Activity will be on 80
to 6 meters using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK.  QSL to home call.

BULGARIA, LZ.  Special event station LZ14FDAY will be QRV on August
23 and 24 during the LZ Field Competition Plovdiv 2014.  QSL via

CZECH REPUBLIC, OK.  Special event station OL150FIRE is QRV until
the end of August to commemorate the beginning of voluntary fire
departments in the Czech Republic 150 years ago.  QSL via OK5AM.

BELGIUM, ON.  Special event station OP147MN is QRV until September
20 to commemorate the beginning of World War I.  QSL via ON2KP.

NETHERLANDS, PA.  Members of the Vaasen radio club will be QRV as
PF32CAVENTE from August 26 to 29 from a large youth camp.  Activity
will be on 40, 20 and 15 meters using RTTY and PSK.  QSL via PA7HPH.
CRETE, SV9.  Christo, LZ3FN will be QRV as SV9/LZ3FN from August 24
to September 7.  Activity will be on the HF bands using mainly CW.
QSL via LZ1PM.

PALAU, T8.  Yasu, JH2DFJ is QRV as T88DF until August 25.  Activity
is on the HF bands using CW, SSB, RTTY, SSTV and other digital
modes.  QSL to home call.

UKRAINE, UR.  Special event station EM360AL is QRV until the end of
August to celebrate the 360th anniversary of the town of Lebedyn.

CHAGOS ISLAND, VQ9.  Bob, N7XR will be QRV as VQ9XR from Diego
Garcia, IOTA AF-006, beginning August 25 and will be here for three
weeks.  Activity will be on 160 to 10 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY.
QSL direct to home call.

HONG KONG, VR.  Jeffrey, K0UU is QRV as VR2UU until the end of 2015.
QSL via operator's instructions.
CAMBODIA, XU.  Alex, M6CFW is QRV as XU7AEU from Phnom Penh until
August 27.  Activity is during his free time on 20, 17, 15 and 12
meters using various digital modes.  QSL direct to home call.

ASCENSION ISLAND, ZD8.  Steve, G3ZVW is QRV as ZD8N until August 29.
He is active during his morning and evening hours and weekends.  QSL
to home call.

SPECIAL EVENT STATIONS.  W1AW Centennial Stations W1AW/8 in Ohio and
W1AW/0 in North Dakota are QRV until 2359z on August 26.  In
addition, W1AW Centennial Stations W1AW/1 in Maine and W1AW/7 in
Arizona will be QRV starting at 0000z on August 27.  They will be
active until 2359z on September 2.

Ladder, Hawaii QSO Party, Kansas QSO Party, QRP ARCI CW Welcome to
QRP, Ohio QSO Party and the CVA DX SSB Contest are all on tap for
this weekend.  The SKCC CW Sprint and CWops Mini-CWT CW Test are
scheduled for August 27.  Please see August QST, page 74, and the
