Grey Point Fort special event station

The Grey Point Fort (CASHOTA GI-060, WAB J47, WW Loc. IO74DP), Crawfordsburn, Co Down, Northern Ireland (EU-115, WLOTA 1439), special event will be a 48-hour event starting at 1700hrs 31st May 2013 to 1700hrs 2nd June 2013.

The event is not a contest; It is an opportunity for all radio amateurs to make point to point contact on 80-10m SSB and PSK with the three special event callsigns to commemorate GB0GPF / GN0URN / MN0GPF.

A certificate will be awarded to all stations that make contact with all three special event station callsigns on any qualifying bands or modes of operation. If a station is unable to contact all three stations, individual QSL cards are available. Two classes of awards are available, one for licensed operators and one for short wave listeners.

QSL GB0GPF, GN0URN and MN0GPF via MI0MOD QTHR. Please NO QSLs via the bureau! Further information can be found at: www.greypointfort.magix.net/public/event rules.htm
