IOTA News from OPDX

Island activities:

AS-036. This one was late getting in, but if you worked JF3ELH/6 this
past weekend, you work Masa, JF3ELH, on Iki Island (Iki-jima
Gounuura-cho Iki-gun Nagasaki-ken). Activity was suppose to be on 80/40/30/20/17/15/12/10/6 meters CW/SSB. It was mentioned that in case of heavy rain or other condition, the operation condition may vary. QSL JF3ELH/6 via JF3ELH. Please check QRZ.com for details.

AS-060. Kang, DS4DRE, is now active as DS4DRE/5 from Hajo Island
(WLOTA LH-1006) until December 31st. Activity will be on 80-10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via his home callsign, direct (he is a stamp collector) or by the Bureau.

EU-008. Operators Andy/M1LOL and Ray/M1REK will be active as MM1REK from the Isle of Coll (IOSA NH05, SCOTIA DI12, WLOTA 2123) in
the Inner Hebrides group between August 5-10th. Activity will be on 80-10 meters SSB and the Digital modes. QSL via M1REK, by the Bureau or direct. See the Web site at:

EU-008. Just a reminder that the members of the Camb-Hams are once
again active from the Isle of Mull (IOSA NH15, SCOTIA CN10, WLOTA 2485), Inner Hebrides, as GS3PYE/p until May 16th.
Activity will be on all HF bands (600-10m) using five stations with amps. Operations will also be on 6m, 4m and 2m. EU-030. Just a reminder that Tom, DL7UZO, will be active as 5P9Z from
Bornholm Island (DIA BO-001, WLOTA 2203) between May 25th and
June 1st. Activity will be focused on 160 meters and the Digital
modes, as well as all bands on CW. QSL via DL7UZO, direct or by

EU-051. Operators Stefano/IK6JRI, Fred/IK7JWX and Vincenzo/IZ8LFI will be active possibly as IE9DX from Ustica Island (IIA PA-001) between July 23-30th. Activity will include the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th). Before the contest they will be active on 30/17/12/6 meters using CW, SSB and the Digital modes. Days after the contest they will be on any modes and bands. QSL via IK7JWX. ADDED NOTE: Anyone who wants to join the team for the contest (only 2 days) is welcome. EU-110. Operators Stefano/IV3LZQ, Paolo/IV3PUT, Francesco/IV3EDU and Andy/9A3JH will be active from Sveti Nikola Island (ACIA IC-016,
IOCA CI-118, MIA MC-414, WLOTA 3152) between July 25-29th.
Activity will be on 80-6 meters using CW and SSB. They will also be an entry in the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) using the callsign 9A/IV3LZQ. QSL direct only via IV3LZQ (see QRZ.com). For details and updates, see: http://www.arimanzano.it

EU-120. A group of operators from the North Northumberland area will
be active as GB1VR from the Holy Island of Lindisfarne between 1500, June 7th and 1600, June 9th (local times). Activity is on the anniversary of the First Viking Raid 793AD and will be on all HF bands. Operators mentioned are Dave/M0DSS, Alan/2E0ZED, Tom/2E0VAI, Erick/M6ECK, Richard/M0VKX and Brendan/ M6HOS. EU-127. Thomas, DJ6OI, is now active as DJ6OI/p from Helgoland Island
until May 15th. QSL via info on QRZ.com.

EU-172. Ric, DL2VFR, will be active as OU1RAEM from Samso Island
between May 18-24th. This is just one of many activities throughout the year to be used with this special callsign to celebrate the 110th anniversary/birthday of Ernst T. Krenkel. See QRZ.com for details.
Ric will operate mainly CW. All QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the Bureau. For direct cards, QSL via DF5LW.

NA-128. Members of the "NA-128 Contest Group" will once again activate Ile Verte (C.IS.A QC-015, Grid FN58, ARLHS CAN-244, WLOTA 1404) using the special callsign CF2I between July 24-28th.
Their activity will include the RSGB IOTA Contest (July 27-28th) as a Multi-Single entry. The group will operate many stations from the lighthouse keeper's quarters on many bands (SSB, CW and RTTY, PSK63) before and after the contest. The group will operate ONLY on SSB and CW on 10, 15, 20, 40 and 80m DURING the contest. The complete log will be uploaded to LoTW few days after the contest. Paper QSL is via VE2CQ. NA-204. The Cuban T46A group will activate the special callsign T46C
from Santa Maria Island between June 13-17th. The operators mentioned are Ore/CO6LC, Jose/CO6EC, Yordany/CO6YAC, Amaurys/ CO6WYR, CL6RLD and Luis/CO6LP. They will try to maintain three stations on the air transmitting on 160-10 meters, including 30/17/12 meters, using CW, SSB and RTTY, into yagis, beverages and verticals. QSL via EA5GL.

OC-237. A group of Indonesian operators will be active as YE3I from
Gili Ketapang between June 7-9th. Operators mentioned are Edi/YB3EDD, Eddy/YB3VPP, Samsul/YB3GZS and Andy/YB3BOA. Activity will be on 160-10 meters. QSL via YB3EDD.
